Snow Report - 4 February 2019
It's been a very busy time for our fantastic volunteers, which kept the tows running over the past week under excellent snow conditions.
The night skiing in Leadhills was once again very popular, allowing many families and adults to have a slide after school / working hours.
The week-long spell of dry, cold weather came to an end on Sunday with heavy sleet showers which thawed the slope and marked the last day of operations until the next snowfall.
The forecast for the week ahead is mixed with snow precipitation and rain. There is some snow remaining on Lowther Hill by the snowfences but more is needed to open.
Lowther Hills members will receive further updates regarding opening times. Please remember: Lowther Hills is a membership-based ski club. You need to sign up as a member to use the club's facilities, and only members receive information regarding the opening times of the slope. Join here: http://www.skiclub.lowtherhills.com/join
